Reno Doula Project

The Reno Doula Project originally started with three doulas, Ashley Greenwald, Ashley Maas, and Erin Schweber. Since 2012 the Reno Doula project has grown to incorporate trained or in training doulas. Created as a way to help support families in Northern Nevada who would like to have a doula during their birth but may be unable to afford one. Discounted fees are determined using a sliding scale based on household income.

To support this project, the RDP doulas offer their services at discounted rates and donate a portion of the proceeds to help support women who cannot afford to pay for full fees for doula services.
